The Xolo (pronounced 'show-low-eats-queent-lee') has a calm, happy, fearless nature. An ancient hairless dog of the Americas, prized for its curative and mystical powers. Xolos are very clean, and will often be seen grooming themselves like a cat. The skin is smooth and satiny, yet thick, offering resistance to injury, sunburn and insects. His skin is warm to the touch, but he needs a sweater in Calgary.
The breed comes in two varieties; hairless and coated and three sizes:
Standard: 18"-23" at the shoulder
Miniature: 14"-18" at the shoulder
Toy: 10"-14" at the shoulder
We currently do not have Xolo breeders listed with CADF.
