West Highland White Terrier image (also known as Westie)
A close kin to the Cairn, the Westis measures 11 inches at the shoulder. His coat is white, straight, wiry with a soft under coat. Considerable work is needed to maintain the coat. The West Highland White Terrier is a fine pet for city and country living. He is an earth dog, and does enjoy digging.
