National dog of Norway, the Norwegian Elkhound is a compact, solidly built dog of the Spitz family, measuring 20” at the shoulder. He adapts well to city or country living, enjoys lots of exercise, and is good with children. His coat is thick, weather resistant in shades of gray with black tips.
